How to Borrow a Wi-Fi Hotspot

Beginning Summer 2025, semester-long hotspot loans will be offered according to needs-based eligibility as follows.

Hotspot Eligibility

• PELL Grant recipients
• Promise Grant (CCPG) recipients
• Dream Act (DACA) students
• Rising Scholars
• Foster Youth & NextUp participants
• EAC (Educational Assistance Center) students

To borrow a Wi-Fi hotspot, visit the Library and Learning Resource Center (LLRC) circulation desk during open hours.

How to Use Your Wi-Fi Hotspot

1) Power on your hotspot by pressing and holding the power button on the side of the device.

When your hotspot is powered on, its unique Wi-Fi name and password will appear on the main display screen.

2) Open the Wi-Fi settings on the device you wish to connect to the hotspot (e.g., your school laptop).

3) Select the hotspot's Wi-Fi name and enter the password to connect to the hotspot.
